Our Story
Salicylates and Chemicals was founded in 1978 with a clear purpose: to supply reliable, high-purity specialty ingredients to formulators who needed a dependable manufacturing partner. Starting with a focused portfolio of salicylates and preservatives, we grew steadily by earning the trust of manufacturers one formulation at a time.
Today, our product portfolio spans UV filters, emulsifiers, paraben-free preservatives, natural actives, and pharmaceutical-grade APIs — serving over 1,500 customers across more than 60 countries from our facilities in Mumbai and Hyderabad.

Company Founded in Mumbai
Salicylates and Chemicals established with an initial focus on salicylate-based specialty ingredients for the Indian personal care and pharmaceutical market.
1985
First International Exports
Expanded into international markets, establishing our first export relationships in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
2000s
Portfolio Expansion & European Growth
Launched the Saliguard and Salicare product families. Established partnerships with leading European distributors and cosmetic manufacturers.
2015
ISO 9001 Certification & GMP Implementation
Achieved ISO 9001 quality management certification and implemented pharmaceutical GMP practices across all manufacturing lines.
2022–Present
Hyderabad Facility & Natural Actives Range
Opened second manufacturing facility in Hyderabad. Launched Salinat-e range of premium natural and botanical actives for clean beauty markets.
